Plain terms for a simple app. By installing or using repRaise you agree to them; if you do not, please do not use the app.
Before anything else — your health. repRaise is a fitness tool, not a coach and not a medical device. It cannot see whether an exercise is safe for you. Talk to a doctor before starting a new training routine, especially if you have any injury, heart condition, or are pregnant. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for your technique, your equipment and your surroundings — including making sure the bar you hang from will hold you.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use repRaise on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial training. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app, except where law says you may despite this.
The app works fully without one. If you do create one, you agree to use a real identity from Apple or Google, to keep access to it secure, and not to create accounts for other people. You must be at least 13 years old (16 where local law requires it) to hold an account.
The counters exist to make a repetition mean something. You agree not to defeat them: no playing recorded video to the camera, no automation, no modified builds, no tampering with the app's stored data. We may reset progress obtained this way, and in serious or repeated cases close the account.
Gear can be bought through the App Store or Google Play. Those stores take the payment and their terms govern it.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, your statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days applies; note that it ends once a digital item has been delivered and you have agreed to immediate delivery.
Watching a rewarded video is always your choice, and the reward — a shorter waiting timer — is granted only when the video has actually been watched to the end. We do not guarantee that an ad will be available at any given moment.
Your workout data is yours. By signing in you allow us to store and process it so the app can do its job, including showing your display name and totals on the leaderboard. The app itself — its code, design, text and artwork — belongs to us.
We try to keep the service up, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data. The app's local features would continue to work on your device.
You can stop at any time: delete your account in the app, and uninstall. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — disclaimers, liability, governing law — do.
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost data, or for injury arising from exercise. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten euros, whichever is greater.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, where the developer of repRaise is registered, and the courts of Tel Aviv have jurisdiction — except that, if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, the app will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use repRaise after that means you accept the new version.
